Tuition Assistance & Special Scholarships

St. Gertrude School Tuition Assistance is available to those with demonstrated financial need. Qualifying families must complete an application through FACTS Grant Management, using the steps below. (Both SGS and the Catholic Education Foundation use FACTS Grant Management for these applications.) The deadline for St. Gertrude School Tuition Assistance is March 3, 2023.

  1. Log onto your FACTS account.
  2. Click on “Apply for Financial Aid” link.
  3. Select the school year for which you will be paying.
  4. Complete the steps as prompted.

If applying for tuition assistance, please apply for both archdiocesan and parish assistance—and do so at the same time. Due date is the first Friday on February in enrolling year.

Limited availability St. Gertrude School Scholarships are new for 2023. In addition to tuition assistance, these scholarships are available to aid families (current or new) who desire a Catholic education and show commitment to our school. Apply for these scholarships through FACTS Grant Management.

Catholic Education Foundation

The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati accepts applications for elementary school (K-8) tuition assistance grants. All grants are needs-based and can be used at any Catholic elementary school within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Typically, awards have ranged from $250 to $1,200 per qualified student. All who apply for parish assistance should also apply for CEF grants.

Who should apply?

  • Anyone in need of assistance.
  • All EdChoice Expansion families whose full tuition is not covered by the EdChoice scholarship.

To apply for a CEF grant, visit catholicbestchoice.org. The deadline for CEF applications is February 3, 2023.

EdChoice Scholarship Program

St. Gertrude School participates in the Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program for Ohio residents. EdChoice provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides low-income students scholarship opportunities.
