The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia and the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph have cooperated in the mission of St. Gertrude Church and School since its beginning. The continued presence of Dominican religious life makes a difference in the life of the parish and school. This difference is evident because of the Dominican charism of study, prayer, community life, and preaching.
