With Gratitude

As the primary educators of their children, we are grateful that our parents place a high value on the spiritual and academic formation of their children. We encourage parent involvement at St. Gertrude School and parents can be found in nearly every single aspect of school life. There are a number of ways to get involved with varying degrees of time commitment required from once a year projects to weekly opportunities in the school.


The annual Walkathon is the primary PTO fundraiser and is a community-wide event. Students walk sponsored laps on the school grounds during a fun and festive afternoon. Each student walks an average of 4 miles. The goal for the event is to raise $16,000 which is used to fund teacher grants and a variety of extracurricular activities.
